Story: Terca was rescued from a shepherd previously known to Cacela Dog Haven, arriving in a dreadful condition—bleeding from every orifice, often chained and beaten. Emaciated at just 23 kg, he has since blossomed to a healthy 50 kg. While deeply fearful of men and sticks, patience allows him to warm up to most. Though not playful, he adores cuddles, enjoys walks, and is excellent on the lead. Living with Leishmaniasis, he requires daily medication for life. Since arriving at the shelter in 2015, this gentle giant has shown that, despite his size, his heart is even bigger.
