Story: Jack is a gentle 6-year-old German Shepherd who spent weeks wandering the streets, avoiding capture. After multiple treatments at the vet with no improvement, surgery was recommended to remove the salivary gland causing the swelling and making it painful for him to eat. The operation was delicate and lengthy, but it was a success, and Jack is now on the mend at the shelter, where he has been since August 2025.
