Story: Queijo is a 3-year-old boy we welcomed from the Montemor shelter when it was evacuated due to bad weather. He’s another sweet soul who has joined our family, and we’re hoping to find a special home for him. Gentle and calm, he still shows clear signs of trauma and can’t be around sticks, brooms, or other objects linked to aggression. His past must have been difficult to leave such deep marks on such a kind dog. He’s been at the shelter since February 2026.
