Mike

Story: Mike is a very special 7-year-old Labrador who needs a family that will understand and respect his limitations. Rescued from the streets after waiting in the municipal veterinarian’s kennels for a shelter spot, he is now finally safe with us. Though still scared, he longs for love and calm to help him trust again. We know finding him a home won’t be easy, but we are determined to give him the happy ending he deserves. Shy by nature, Mike retreats to his little house when strangers approach, but with the help of treats, he slowly builds trust. Life at the shelter doesn’t always allow the time shy animals need, so he often waits patiently until he feels ready to come out. Gentle and sweet, Mike gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been at the shelter since 2023.
