About us
Even within Europe, countless dogs are still mistreated, left on the streets, or abandoned. At Stichting Perro&Co, we work tirelessly to prevent and combat this cruelty.
Perro&Co Foundation
The Perro&Co Foundation was founded in 2017, consists only of volunteers and is not a profit-making organization. 100% of every donation is spent on our objective: solving and preventing the animal suffering associated with the stray dog problem. We mainly do this by supporting local initiatives. We provide practical, financial and moral support, focusing on disease and birth prevention and dog adoptions.
Our vision
"Perro" means "dog" in Spanish, and "& Co" represents more than just the animals we help, it stands for the people involved in their stories. & Co includes the people who abandoned them—those who failed to sterilize their dogs or left them behind. We believe in educating and leading by example to drive a lasting shift in mentality.
& Co also includes local rescuers—the volunteers who care for strays, foster puppies, and dedicate their lives to giving these animals a second chance. We support them so they can continue their lifesaving work.
& Co represents adopters like you—because every successful adoption changes two lives: the dog's and yours. We focus on careful matchmaking, ensuring that every dog finds a forever home that is truly the right fit.
