Due to his disability, Rico will remain at Cacela Dog Haven as an \u201chonoured resident.\u201d After 10 weeks, he was bunny-hopping, eating and drinking on his own, and finally sleeping through the night. Rico\u2019s determination has given him incredibly strong back legs! On December 15, 2020, he traveled to Lisbon with Treve to be fitted for a custom set of wheels designed to handle Cacela Dog Haven\u2019s pebbled terrain. Once Covid restrictions eased, he returned for the final fitting and collection.
